It is possible to support the troops - especially in wishing them a safe and speedy completion to their mission - without supporting the administration that put them in harm's way. People enlist in the armed forces with the expectation that they will not be sent into battle without justification, so there should be no protest against them doing what they feel is right. It's also up to those of us left in the homeland to keep the administration in check.
