Kids in an upscale Georgia community aren't taking the bus to school or riding their bikes - they're driving golf carts. And the principal at McIntosh High School says all those carts are creating a traffic jam. Teens as young as 15 are allowed to drive golf carts in Peachtree City. Matt Herbel, a 10th-grader, says it's getting tough to find a parking space. He wants the school to build a parking lot just for the students' golf carts. But school officials say there's not enough land on campus for a new lot. Meanwhile, police are warning they may ticket or tow illegally parked golf carts. The kids might have to walk home. |
