Man, I don't think there's anything that will turn this administration away from a full scale engagement. Even if Saddam were to step down (which I certainly don't see happening) I would expect the warmongers to state that his infrastructure is still in place and that we needed to go clean it out.

The thing that gets me is that everything about this war in the press is measured in terms of "risk of American lives lost". Thinking from a global perspective, though, aren't Iraqi citizen lives just as valuable?

My guess is its either going to happen in the next two weeks, or its not going to happen. Weather, state of the moon, etc.. Lots of factors..

I think that the War is going to start on March the 17th. I mean...don't quote me or anything. But I just have a feeling thats when its going to start...

I believe I posted something about a week ago that quoted some un-named British intelligence person saying that it would start on the 17th with bombing beginning 3-4 days before. If this is true, bombing starts tomorrow.
