Lamest military offensive evar?

I'm not sure. It probably didn't have much cost associated with it. We had to ditch two helicopters in the Iranian desert when failing to rescue hostages back in the 80's. Lamer things have happened.

If the goal was simple to piss off a bunch of American's minutes before they were planning to watch fireworks, it succeeded.
