What's really disturbing is that a government security clearance doesn't necessarily mean anything. I have one.. besides the DoD interviewing all my friends and family, it didn't take much to get it. So the truly worrisome thing here is that who knows what kind of people have access to your personal information? That's what concerns me. Also, why is it that all of the sudden, a person's credit history is being taken into account (no pun intended) for so many non-related transactions? Like plane trips and car insurance rates?
