Be that as it may, Mr. Limbaugh acknowledged that New Yorkers were “probably going to celebrate” his departure. He may be right. Mr. Paterson was certainly not choking back tears. For him, having Mr. Limbaugh leave is a dissociation for a better New York. “If I knew that would be the result,” he said, “I would’ve thought about the taxes earlier.”

And the blind governor gets off a good one liner.
