This is what allows us to agregate recommendations of URLs on the main page, in the agent, and in the search engine. Also, it allows us to associate threads with particular URLs, so if you are out on the net reading a story, and you want to see what people on MemeStreams are saying about it, you can hit the "thread bookmarket" and pop up any comments that might be out there about that URL. This relates to the way that most people use web logs most of the time, but there are certainly a number of people out there who like to string together collections of lots of different links in a story. Right now the best way to include multiple links is to simply put the URLs in your article text. At some point in the relatively near future we'll have the system automatically make those links clickable. Further out, there will be features that allow you to indicate relationships between different links that you've recommended, and possibly we may rewire things a bit so that if you include multiple links in a story the threads, agent, and search engine respond appropriately. |
