Again from the Republican playbook, she's too stupid to realize how interrelated science is and instead uses buzz words to pander to the right.

The subtext is that scientists and government are elitist and out of touch with "real people", but yet it takes a great deal of education to do genetic research. Again, something she doesn't comprehend.

I try not to demonize the Republican party, but it's hard when they're so...demonic.
