It literally was like a carnival. Most of my friends brought their kids down. I was sincerely amazed and almost a little proud. I think I came to some kind of understanding of how Americans really do participate in this process. The commentary on the Tennessean website is definitely interesting once filtered. I had a smile on my face most of the night, but that might have also been 2-for-1's at Mafiaozzas. ;-)
