My fair neighborhood gets transformed for the height of political theater. I expect Auschwitz, but what I find is actually more like the county fair. With a dash of secret service and Red Bull girls.

Thanks for posting this. Wow, who would have thought that Bongo Java would have a Presidential debate going on across the street. What I wouldn't give to have a seat on that porch tonight. |

It literally was like a carnival. Most of my friends brought their kids down. I was sincerely amazed and almost a little proud. I think I came to some kind of understanding of how Americans really do participate in this process. The commentary on the Tennessean website is definitely interesting once filtered. I had a smile on my face most of the night, but that might have also been 2-for-1's at Mafiaozzas. ;-) |
