And we are totally screwed on gas down in the ATL too:) I totally was considering buying a bike this morning, as I realize I am going to have to take the bus later this week if I don't find gas.......and I think riding a bike along the streets of Atlanta is totally less scary than figuring out how many bus changes its going to take to get me to Emory from my house...yay!:)

maybe I am being an arse since as I said it is a question of taste and comfort zones or even sensibilities -- I know plenty of people who would crack the exact same joke -- it was an honest response , overly sensitive perhaps but honest

humour and stereotypes are an inflammatory combination and what might be deemed tasteful is a minefield of intention, misunderstanding and the discourse of representation -- and almost always the person who complains comes off looking like a prick with no sense of humour 8-)
