Try getting into Canada with a 5 year old, misdemeanor, no-injury, no-accident DUI. You're a felon to them just like a violent criminal. Although I have to say that once you are denied entry... the customer service is TOPS. Front of the ticketing line. Front of the security line. And the airline can't deny you a seat - they bump someone else if needed and put you on the next flight out.
