Basically, having now bought a house, I move for at least 6-10 years, depending on house appreciation (or depreciation). -janelane [Pretty useful. I agree this is a handy tool. We first talked about this last April when it was first published. From the accompanying article: Most striking, perhaps, is the fact that prices may not yet have fallen far enough for buying to look better than renting today, except for people who plan to stay in a home for many years.
