lol - Most American women would probably agree with you, although Brad is a bit of a pretty boy himself, compared to some men.

Given the popularity of manga, anime, and visual kei in Japan, perhaps Japanese women are more appreciative of the bishōnen factor. Also, if it really is a gender-reversed continuation of the geisha tradition, it stands to reason that male geisha's would be the delicate, beautiful types. Otherwise, they'd just be regular gigolos.

Speaking of Brad Pitt, I recently watched Troy on Blu-ray, and Brad certainly looks masculine in high definition... albeit, in a pretty sort of way.
