"I'm sure at some point Jeffery Dahmer ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches... does it then make the fact that he ate people less wrong? - Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the View: On March 24, 2008, Hasselbeck called Rev. Jeremiah Wright a racist and equated him to serial killer JeffreyDahmer.

"Sexy, blonde bombshell Elisabeth Hasselbeck's logic typifies the logic of all white Americans. When making blanket statements such as these about the white race, it is important to know their history so the comments aren't taken out of context. Remember," says Ghetto Bragging Rights publisher Kirkland Perkins, "There is only one political party in America: the white party. Playing Democrat VS Republican is a game to them."

An excellent read on understanding how Classic American Racial Psychosis (CARP)  skews the reasoning ability of white people is found in the following excerpt by Chelsey Perkins, There's no ignoring history and privilege:
A friend of mine has a family member who recently proclaimed he would vote for Sen. John McCain. When probed for the reason of his allegiance, he replied, “Black people are voting for Obama, women are voting for Hillary Clinton. I’m a white male, so why wouldn’t I vote for a white male candidate?” The fact that until this point, every nonwhite, nonmale person in this country has had no other choice but a white male was apparently lost upon his logic. His answer represents to me a certain kind of historical amnesia, manifested in what we’ve been told since elementary school: We live in a melting pot in which everyone’s political and economic destiny lies in their own hands, as soon as they pull up those bootstraps.

"Hasselbeck's stament's have their root in the Classic American Racial Psychosis (CARP) disorder that all whites suffer from," says racial psychologist Dr. Louis Sidney Jacobs. "They are disillusioned beyond repair with the concepts of racial beauty and superiority."

"Word in the Nation is that one of the sisters on the show has already impregnated Hasselbeck with a melanoma," says Yacub13X national spokesman Yusef Ali. "Now the Sun of God will express the perversion of her words through her superior skin and bombshell blonde hair. Henceforth, she, like the Fig Tree is cursed. For, she has leaves but bears no fruit. Her melanoma execution is yet another sign of the 2nd Coming of the Sun of God."

Did you hear her today accusing Rev. Wright of being a racist? People like her just LOVE to jump on that wagon to try to make herself look like a caring compassionate "diverse" person. She went on about Jeffery Dahmer and peanut butter sandwiches...I can just see her, sitting in front of FOX news, with a note pad, feverishly scribbling great one-liners to use on tomorrow's show. I also love how ANY negative news item about one of the democrats sends her into a judgmental tizzy-storm, crazily spewing out anti-liberal nonsense. Today she almost lost it, but thank god Whoopi can just tisk-tisk her and settle her down. Elisabitch is just a hateful, close-minded, sheltered little socialite who thinks she's got all the answers.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck: A Dumb Blonde’s Pearls of Wisdom

Whoopi Goldberg is the epitome of the term "bigot." Not to defend Hasselback, but you seem like the sort of asshole who entertains an entirely binary way of looking at complex socio-political realities. Most times, all sides of any issue are completely wrong. Oh well. Hypocrisy is merely a question of degree.

Black people are victims of bigots and racists. We don't hold the power it racism and bigotry require. Too, racism and bigotry are intwined to the concept of white superiority. White people's convienent definitions of bigotry and racism (where they can apply to all) are self serving. But that's not surprising! The bully's hatred for his bully is not foul. It is justifiable.

When Jesus spoke of hypocrisy, he was talking to the Romans. They were white too.

Black people are one of many victims of bigots. To a degree, everyone is bigoted and also the victim of some kind of prejudice. Now while I agree that black people have been unduly victimized by racism throughout U.S. History by villians on all sides of the political aisle, there can exist a racism within their own community. Of course subscribers to the twisted doctrine of white supremacy do exist in many a home or business, but black/white racial issues have improved(they couldn't get much worse than they were prior to the civil right movement). These days, a racist in the white community is marginalized by popular culture (and even the law, with the application of hate crime legislation.) If I preached "white supremacy," then I wouldn't have much of an audience in 2008. Compare that social climate to that of the Wilson/Harding eras of our last century and you'll see that we, as a nation, are coming around. Hell, Obama may well become president through the votes of blacks AND whites. That's kinda' inspiring. However, if an ignorant mind such as yours can only process things with "hatred for your bully" that society already condemns for you, then you may well create a new oppression based on illogical nostalgia for the worst in mankind. There is no justification for blind hatred. Sorry sam, but if you hate me solely because I am white, or you even assume to know anything about me because of my color, then you will make an ass out of yourself again and again. Also, if you feel that you've faced bullying at the hands of whites, then we can count ourselves as members of the same club. I've also been bullied by some black people, in my life, as have you, I am sure. What generalization do I make about these bullies? They are ignorant assholes. Ignorance, ironically, does not discriminate. It strikes all but the most diligent, and open-hearted.

If we wish to apply this to Jeremiah Wright, then all I can say is that I agree with his assessments, aside from the anti-semitism (which makes me question your statement above about your hatred of a bully being justifiable. When did Jews oppress blacks? Answer me that, please. I cannot find any instances). I think that Obama's failure to throw his friend and pastor under the bus for the sake of appeasing some uncomfortable whites to be a very noble thing. Certainly, my allegiance lies with Obama, and not Elizabeth Hasselbeck.

That said, you should probably rethink your views. Not knowing you personally, I do not know what life has exposed you to, but you obviously need to see some different situations. White racism oppressed blacks for a very long time and pockets of it DEFINITELY still exist, deserving to be exposed for what they are. However, most whites entertain no ill will for blacks, and vice versa. But we need to weed out those that do and let them sit in their misery. The rest of us can get together as one. To deny the existence of prejudice in your own community is tantamount to complicity and it stands in the way of the dream.

Your conserberalistic views are convenient. The system is the racial bully. whites built it and it caters to them to this day.
