This is something that a lot of people have been noting, but what is MUCH MORE troublesome is not "is he safe," but what happened last week in Dallas. Security details at Barack Obama's rally Wednesday stopped screening people for weapons at the front gates more than an hour before the Democratic presidential candidate took the stage at Reunion Arena.
That this would happen at all is troubling. That this could happen in Dallas, less than a mile from Dealy Plaza, is mind blowing. And with incidents like this already in the books, if something does happen, Katy bar the door. |
