This doesn't require much fiddling. Any invalid article ID number shows that blank page.

Look, I've spent a lot of time googling this. There is no evidence that this guy ever wrote anything on that site. Having said that, I did find a bit of information that points in the direction you suggest, albeit inconclusive.

This screen shot includes a list of articles by the same author. The author's name is misspelled in one of the article titles (Phillp?). That is a strike against the potential validity of this screenshot, as you'd think he would have noticed that they misspelled his name in the title of an article, but its not impossible. The article list does have a huge strike in it's favor. A few of the articles there appear to have been reposted on the Internet in the past, and they list him as being a contributor to that site.

That does seem to significantly reduce the possibility that this is a hoax, but its not conclusive proof. If it is real, they've done quite a good job of covering it up.
