I actually agree with the "cranky" here. It's an empty, token gesture and if it's not ugly now, it will be when it starts to rust in a few years. I'm all for breaking out of fossil fuel dependence, but I think this is kinda silly.

None of that is to say he doesn't have the *right* to do it.
