I'm at a bit of a loss as to why a security guard was handing out orders like that, perhaps he wasn't well-instructed on what he was supposed to be doing other than just making sure the children learn thoroughly to never question any authority figure, but that's another matter... Look, I know people say there are GOOD cops, but I have met only 1 in my life - a really nice old probably 60 something year old policeman up in Ackworth. 1. And I am now 40. I met one really nice security gaurd - she was just trying to get through school to be a detective. Most of the detectives are ok - they don't have that HUGE chip and have a half decent education that has humanized them.

Policemen and security gaurds don't make SQUAT. We used to have some mental health techs that we'd hire, and they'd be abusive to mental patients so we'd fire them. About all of them went on to be cops.

Why be a cop? It is lousy pay, lousy hours, you wear stupid clothes, and are put in danger. So why be a cop? To help people? You can do that as a nurse or fireman. How about for the power and authority? How far up is that on the list of motivations?

I don't MEAN to be so negative. I just haven't had the good day to day experiences. If I NEEDED one, it would have to be really really bad. I did need them once, when I was a victim of theft and forgery. What did they do? Spent all their time investigating ME and never caught who did it - even though they had a videotape of a young black female in the ACT, and I am about as blonde as a person CAN be.

I think they ALL should have cameras running, and cameras/recorders are really the ONLY use for cell phones I have. They are great to collect evidence for the citizens' sides of stories.
