FUCK YOU. You're done. As far as a lot of Americans and myself are concerned, you will never be worthy of a vote again. You very obviously don't have our best interests in heart, and even more clearly don't give a crap what happens to your fellow man even when it's right in front of you.
That's pretty much why I didn't vote for him in 2004. As much as I felt the world was going to hell in a hand basket back then with the current administration, I didn't find the alternative any better. And frankly, I still don't. I came close to registering to vote for that election, but I stand by my original conviction on the matter. It doesn't do jack shit. It's just a game that makes you FEEL like something good might happen. This video is excruciatingly disturbing. The comment about anyone coming to save this kid is naive. The only thing that could've made this even more depressing is having a melee break out between citizens that understand and are motivated by their rights and the cops. It would've likely resulted in something that made civil rights incidents look tame by comparison. And of course in today's day and age, there's probably a line a mile long of attorneys salivating. This may sound pessimistic, but this video shows the truth. You don't have any real rights. People are shit and scared shit at that. Someone who stood up in front of the entire American populace and pledged themselves as a leader just stood and watched and even tried to placate the crowd with a "now now... let's just stay calm" cowtow. The idea that the US is somehow different in the way that it treats its citizens in situations like this is a sham. The only difference between us and say China is a) this guy wasn't dragged out and executed and b) there will be tons of litigation and insurance claims on this incident. That's it.
