It has always been this way. Your PS3 can't be trusted to keep people alive, but the ISS computer can. |

Let's hope so. It's not my intention to bash the ISS, I'm just making an observation. One of my first memories is of watching the Apollo 11 Moon landing in 1969. When my mom was a child, the first fission bombs were detonated in 1945. It's interesting to think that my nephews will probably see the most significant technological advances of their time take place in the consumer realm. Besides, I have no problem with entrusting my life to older technology... specifically, that of circa 1911. |
