I believe they give children something to conquer
before the world begins to conquer them
And I believe in the steady inflation of the tooth
fairy
donate more than a nickel to that cause
because a dime under a pillow makes it easier
to endure the loss of a molar
makes way for the greater loss of a teacher
or a brother to the NYPD"

I saw this women perform at a convention a little over a year ago, and i finally got around to looking her up on the net. Her poetry is really incredible. I only wish I had this sort of talent....
