Living in a small town, there's no place to go SEE the documentaries. I think the lesson is that people DO want to learn, and they do want to see commentaries on serious subjects. I think that is very positive in America's so anti-intellectual culture of past few years. I'm excited that perhaps one day Pay Per View will have them as they are released for those of us in rural areas. I love documentaries - Google Video is a good friend. Audiobooks are also becoming a bigger force I think on the social/political scene. People that would never pick up a book are starting to listen to the audiobooks.
