As one of about 12,000 passionate Predators fans who are at every game without fail, I could take this opportunity to rant — and there certainly has been plenty of that going on around town for the past few days.

About 15 years ago I went through this with the Minnesota North Stars. What's going on with the Preds may turn around, since it's not clear what the new owner really wants to do. He could be using the threat of moving to leverage more out of the city/state, or he could actually move the team. What happened to the North Stars however was a debacle. An old broken down stadium and a financially failing and sued owner who didn't want to keep the team there spelled the end for them in Minnesota. |
