I'm still a little confused. When the battle first started brewing, I heard Sony was preventing porn on BD, period. This article says the same thing, but then states that Vivid found a replicator that was unconcerned with being boycotted by the majors for pressing porn BD's. A ban and a boycott are slightly different. Is there an authoritative source on this once and for all? I don't think porn will be a compelling unit mover this time around. Why? Because of the nature of the format. I've watched porn before. Most of those girls look ruined because that lifestyle takes a huge toll on them. Producers hide that fact with makeup and filming technique. If you increase the video resolution by a factor of six, you are really going to see how ruined these girls are. It's not attractive.
