It's natural to care less about the wellbeing of people you don't know than those you are close to, of course, but I'm still surprised just how callous we can be these days.
They don't give a damn that they're supposed to be voting the will of the people and are instead voting the will of the leaders of their party, so what the heck is going to be hard for them about depersonalizing the life-threatening illness of one solitary person?
