Despite record-breaking ridership numbers, unprecedented punctuality and plans to boost revenues via state-of-the-art wireless Internet access, Caltrain officials are beginning to sweat next year's operating budget.

Well, I guess the traffic on the 101 isn't bad enough. Clear Channel & Infinity's outdoor advertising is hurting. The memetic viruses are not being properly implanted in the minds of the valley proletariat. This key indicator of economic health could cause the entire valley to cave in unless the investors are given the right cues from the institutional powers.. The traffic on both sides of SFO needs to be pumped up. PUMPED UP I SAID!@ Visitors must be sitting in their rental cars and taxi cabs, knowing they are lucky to be there, sitting on the nerve canal of the valley, heading to the brain like a bubble in the blood!

Elsewhere, when hitting that section of i-280 that overlooks that precious area surrounding SFO, the people must see a unending string of red and white lights to the east like a dividing line, as the fog rolls in obscuring the layout of the land. If they have a good change to look at it, while trying not to rear-end the car in front of them due to highly unpredictable traffic speeds, it's all part of the plan..

It's all about perceptions! The liminal of the driving ritual must have an impact!

I _refuse_ to address the topic of valley traffic in a serious manor. The only thing I care to express is targeted, strategic, and skillful RAGE.

Update: Woo.. That' kinda felt good to vent. Transportation in The Valley is a problem. I still refuse to address it seriously.

I wonder if we could cause an effect by artificially causing traffic problems on 101, would people see that as a sign and act accordingly?
