That assumes you are going to win convictions in all of the cases. When some of them inevitably walk free, they are going to be captured by Al Qaeda and held for interrogation. They will repeat what they previously revealed under questioning, and they will be forced to pass along any new information gleaned during the trials. Then, in all likelihood, they will be killed, but the security of the trial will have been breached. RE: A Terror Trial, With or Without Due Process |
