Don't believe everything you read about the Chechyn rebels. There's a lot of propaganda spread around the Russian news circuits that is outright lies. It wouldn't suprise me that Basarev had nothing to do with Beslan.

Perhaps, but surely they kill people all the time that have nothing to do with anything and they obviously don't tout every one of them on international news circuits. They're kind of like us with our once-in-a-while major Al Qaeda operative killings.

I conceed the point, though; if he didn't do it, they shouldn't drag his name through the mud.
