Whatever happened to handles? When I was in highschool, I was WAY too paranoid about stalking, my parents, and The Man to use my real name on anything I posted online. I certainly never posted pictures of myself that would be embarrassing later on when I became rich and famous. Even now when I don't much maintain a webpage, I'm careful about what's posted and what's hidden so no one confuses me with her. ;-)

It seems to me that there's millions of bloggers who don't know that the net is purposefully anonymous enough [for a Googling HR person, anyway] that you can try to impress your friends without costing yourself a bling job offer.
