Missouri legislators in Jefferson City considered a bill that would name Christianity the state's official "majority" religion.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. You know, before they even say "We're not going to say anything about what religion you pick" they say "we're not picking one." I guess some asshat here in Missouri never read that. |

Repeat after me: "We are all screwed." Americans know more about The Simpsons TV show than the US Constitution's First Amendment, an opinion poll says. Only one in four could name more than one of the five freedoms it upholds but more than half could name at least two members of the cartoon family.
