There's no glory in destruction. If I could destroy the Internet, I'd not even be tempted. I could destroy my own hard drive right now, but why would I want to do that? Because I can? No, all that sounds like a lot of work to build it back. The difference is - I'd have to do the work and it would ONLY matter to ME. There are some that enjoy watching others scramble to build back and repair the holes they ripped in systems that matter to a good many people. There's the proper way to release something. Keeping it to yourself isn't that wise either. It could be stolen, or worse yet, folks a lot worse than you might also stumble on it. One of the biggest mistakes a very smart person can make it to think that no one else is AS smart. Hmmmm...anyway, those are my thoughts on release of vulnerabilities.
