An Exotic Tool for Espionage: Moral Compass
by noteworthy at 9:54 am EST, Jan 28, 2006

Is there such a thing as an ethical spy?

One wonders if Spielberg is secretly behind this.

"There's a lot of pandering at the CIA," said Melvin A. Goodman, a CIA analyst from 1966 to 1990.

After seeing Munich, I think there may be something to that. His highly humanized portrayal of the Mossad agents, in concert with on the sly finger poking at the CIA, seemed highly disingenuous. I've yet to see a good analysis of that movie attempting to dive into what was truth and what was bullshit. I don't trust Spielberg to paint a non-biased historical record.
