F-22A Raptor goes operational
by Jamie at 11:40 am EST, Dec 16, 2005

The F-22A Raptor -- Air Force’s most advanced weapon system -- is ready for combat, Air Force officials announced here today.

It's ready.

Heavy kudo's to Lockheed Martin and the wonderful people at the United States Military - the future of air power has arrived.

You think the $2 billion B2-Bombers are bad ass - these not as pricey ( $200+ mil ) fighters are a generation ahead of anything on planet Earth.

And they reverted the name back from F/A just in time to ask for money to develop the FB-22. -Pk

Yes of course. They are already working on the variants - thankfully. Only good things come from our Military :)
