Fair enough. All that means is that I will never travel to those countries.

I've never taken drugs once in my life, but I can't abide a place where the line between life and death is so narrowly drawn. Forget it.

In South East Asia drug sales are used to finance paramilitary groups in Myanmar and other places, so they are very strict about it. I think they should develop a more reasonable approach. Aussies with pot aren't funding paramilitary groups.
