I was mostly referring to the quote about bacon, which has fuck-all to do with terrorism, unless you've already made the assumption that muslim === terrorist. That's bigoted because it's false.

I'm not naive enough to believe this kind of thing doesn't happen, and honestly, I'm pretty ambivalent to what people do to dead bodies. I've never bought into the philosophy that it matters. They're not people any more, regardless of wether they were good or evil in life. So the "desecration" argument doesn't *really* strike me as such a big deal. This is, for example, 1000000 times less of a problem than what happened at Abu Ghraib.

As for sympathizing with the enemy, my comment was meant to draw out your religious intolerance. If you believe all muslims are "the enemy" then yes, in fact, I sympathize with them. If that makes me a terrorist too, well, guilty as charged.
