Besides looking freakin' crazy in the pics - I havn't heard much bad about this guy. His answers to the questions I've seen, seem very appropriate.

Any bad dirt on him?

I actually have an article I need to write on bloggers reactions to the Roberts nomination hearings for my reporting class. I am finding myself frustrated that there isn't much discussion about the guy. Not nearly as much as I expect anyway..

As for dirt, I have not seen much. Most of the concern seems to be centering around Roe vs. Wade, as if that's a big surprise. I've seen several people speculating based on statements he has made that he would overturn the decision.

He is going to wind up getting confirmed, as expected. There has been much talk about the whole conservative packing of the bench, and I think its largely groundless. The two outgoing justices were both conservatives, and damn good justices.

I believe that its the next nomination that is going to spark the huge battles and debates.
