Acidus and I watched it just weeks ago (we've only had cable for 3 months, so it couldn't have been last Sept). At any rate, in it there is a serious infrastructure collapse that will be eerily reminiscent of recent events. Everytime I hear more news on New Orleans, it sounds just like that goddamn movie. Well, almost...gas hasn't hit $8/gal yet. Another weird sidenote: The movie originally aired on FX. And, it was actually mostly well-done. Eerie. -janelane, prophetically RE: Oil Storm |
