This is a useful site. If only they did European beers as well. As far as American beer goes, I've be seriously missing Fat Tire Amber Ale and Sunshine Wheat from New Belgium Brewery. Both are seriously good, and unavailable everywhere but the Western US. I seriously hope that changes. Its possibly the best American micro-brew style stuff I've ever seen available outside the brewery. La Fin Du Monde Ale is a favorite beer of mine from our neighbors to the north. There is no Canada like French Canada, eh? Good beer to follow up with a bottle of Chimay. As I'm fond of saying, I've never had a beer made by monks that wasn't truly excellent. Monks know beer.
All of those are very good. I want to see how Celis White is from the relocated Michigan brewery, Pierre's brewery in Austin was outstanding, I'm curious to see how it handled being moved. I also recommend Widmer's, now being distributed by AB, but still owned by the brothers. In the Midwest, Leinenkugel's still makes some good beer, in Texas, Shiner is pretty good. Blue Moon from Coors of all people is good too. Really the only ones that don't make a good beer are AB and Mlller, and they've got distribution deals working for a couple good ones now. Beer is up!
