I've taken Mirapex for several months now and it has been like a miracle drug for me. I have severe restless leg syndrome.
Well I do know that since I went on the Mirapex it has been like a miracle drug for me. I am a lot more productive and my quality of ife has greatly increased dramatically. It is definitely the Mirapex. If I take it late or miss a dose I pay tremendously.

Anyway, I know that RLS can be disabling, and so can fibro. My sister has suffered for years with it. I wanted to post this just in case anyone out there might have either of these conditions.

Most doctors are totally in the dark about the severity that RLS can have, and I am an RN (in a past life) and I'd never even heard of it.

Mirapex is usually used for Parkinson's disease and some doctors don't know that it is being used for RLS and now Fibro. I have found that it even helps the nerve damage that I have. It has been a miracle drug for me.
