Kerry Seeks Release of Roberts' Documents - Yahoo! News by Mike the Usurper at 12:30 am EDT, Jul 23, 2005 |
Democratic Sen. John Kerry urged the White House on Friday to release "in their entirety" all documents and memos from Supreme Court nominee John Roberts' tenure in two Republican administrations. "We cannot do our duty if either Judge Roberts or the Bush administration hides elements of his professional record,"
Which of course the White House won't do. Not because there would be anything particularly damning in the records, simply because they don't release anything, unless it's something to try to torpedo someone who isn't onboard with them. |

Good I hope they don't release them. It makes Democrats and liberals angry - which makes me happy. I can almost say with certainty, any response to this post will make me happy too :) |

An attorney in private practice at the time, Roberts flew to the state at his own expense to offer advice to Republican Gov. Jeb Bush, as the governor's older brother tried to clinch the election over then-Vice President Al Gore.

Will it be scandalous to have ever had an opinion if I am ever nominated for service? Huh? |
