I'm still figuring out the interface, but it appears that there's one comment (basic descriptional one by Desdemona), and notations that say "lots of thumbs up/down" activity and "tons" of Stumbleupon traffic. If you check the referral logs, these will show up as a link from "www.stumbleupon.com/refer.html". (At least, that's how they show up in my own referral logs). So I can't figure out *who* visited -- just that it was someone sent to me by their toolbar. When I check the SU notes on Memestreams, there's also a list of several stumbleupon members that shows up on the page, with boxes next to their names that are either black or green, full, hollow, or partially-full. Those seem to have something to do with how many friends those people have, but I haven't figured out yet why those particular names get listed on the Memestreams comment page (if those people have written comments, I haven't seen them). There are some other interesting features that remind me of Memestreams too. Like the ability to specify people that you're friends of, which means you're more likely to see sites that they recommend. The category for Memestreams, btw, is currently listed as Cyberculture/Journalism. A more appropriate one *might* be Cyberculture/Weblogging, but Journalism seems to fit too! If you'd like me to change it, let me know! More information on their rating system here. RE: StumbleUpon |
