China should use nuclear weapons against the United States if the American military intervenes in any conflict over Taiwan, a senior Chinese military official said Thursday.

Yikes! Someone needs to rein this guy in!

I commented on this yesterday. Yes, it is mighty fucked up.

Chinese officials played down his comments. I guess every military has its hawks... Lets hope they are all kept very far from "the button", "the football", etc.
