Apart from being inflammatory, do you have any evidence of this? Everything I have read which attributes these characteristics to him mention his present in the "Hitler Youth" and in the German Army. Both of which, at the time were mandatory, and he left the former to attend seminary and deserted the latter. If you have further evidence, please point me in the right direction.
Hitler Youth...Nazi... Whatever. I suppose he just followed orders and the experience was much less corrupting than when young christians read books.
