The german shepherd was barking ferociously at the man with a gun on his hip. The man, with his hands held high in the air, did not flinch as the dog gnashed its teeth and was held back only by a handler with a short leather leash.
Then the man suddenly dropped a ball hidden in his hands. The dog scooped it up and was congratulated with high-pitched squeals — baby talk almost.
“Good boy,” the man exclaimed as he bent down to run his hand through the brown and black fur. “You're a good boy.”
