Serious flashbacks. I was at Glastonbury 98, and we definately encountered the devil's arithmetic of 100,000 people + 600 acres of farmland + 5 days of rain. Not flooding, but awful. And yet curiously worth it.
Indeed. Odd as it seems, I haven't heard anyone so far, even this year, say that it wasn't great. There were some spectacularly good acts, from what I saw on television, and there was Geldof re Live 8 next weekend. Weather is now back to being sunny and warm. Ah well, we Brits are used to a bit of rain .. although personally I'm glad to have been at home! ;-) RE: Glastonbury Music Festival on Yahoo! News Photos |
