Feeling a bit bitter, are we, maybe? Need I invoke Powell's Rules again? I suggest a heady cocktail of 2, 3, 7, 10, and 13; and call me in the morning.
heh... a good suggestion nonetheless! I'm not bitter. I made plenty of money during the boom years. I'm pissed because I didn't get to finish changing the world the way I thought I was going to. But I've found another way to do it, and I'll be damned if I get stopped again. The real point I was trying to make is that I didn't go hiding like a rat. I was out there proclaiming that we've not even begun to realize the values that were being postulated during the boom. Yes, the Internet *does* change everything. We just haven't even seen how much that really means. RE: If You Can Make It in Silicon Valley, You Can Make It . . . in Silicon Valley Again |
