Actually, the findings show that the participants view sex as a reward (as opposed to a punishment or given, I suppose) instead of a replacement for romantic love. The two are symbiotic. Thus, my anxiety is likely to be scores greater if, instead of ignoring me, you sleep with me then never call. All the glory, none of the guts, and one more disillusioned twentysomething joins the legions. -janelane |
