I never use the 'List Memes by Rank' feature. But I'm not sure I'd have an immediate use for the new feature you describe, either, although I suppose others would put that to good use.

At this point, beyond the browser toolbar, my "bookmark management system" consists primarily of Memestreams and Google. I can search for memestreams nw keyword and get results from as recently as two days ago. For example, try a Google search for memestreams nw Group Rethink.

Sounds like you need some improvements in the memestreams search engine...
