I moved here after 2002. The Georgia PUC is notorious for being in the hands of BellSouth (Corporate HQ located in Atlanta). Interestingly enough, you don't see a lot of BellSouth pilots or new product intros in GA. Most are in FL, SC, and TN, where the PUCs are more known for being anti-Bell.
